About Us
A steady hand in uncertain moments
hearthwelludasd exists to give families a clear, calm space to organise what they have, understand their options, and find the right people to speak with next.

How hearthwelludasd came to be
hearthwelludasd was established in Bangkok in 2018 by a small group of people who had each, at some point in their own lives, found themselves overwhelmed by paperwork and unsure of what step to take next. Not because they lacked intelligence or resources, but because the systems around family-related administration — registrations, documentation, communication between relatives about practical arrangements — can be genuinely difficult to navigate without a clear guide.
The founding team included people with backgrounds in facilitation, community education, and information management. They shared a conviction that what most families need in those moments is not a specialist who takes over, but a knowledgeable companion who explains things clearly and helps them see the path ahead with their own eyes.
Over the years hearthwelludasd has worked with hundreds of individuals and families across Bangkok and the wider Bangkok Metropolitan Region. The service has evolved, but the core intent has not: we are here to inform, organise, and signpost — never to direct or represent.

Our Mission
What we are here to do
Our mission is to reduce the anxiety and confusion that surrounds family documentation and communication, by providing information that is accurate, plain-spoken, and free of pressure. We believe that when people understand what they are dealing with, they make better decisions for themselves and for the people they care about.
Clarity over complexity
We strip away jargon and present information in the plainest terms possible, so that every person in the room understands what is being discussed.
Support without taking over
Families remain in control throughout. Our role is to inform, organise, and point toward the right next steps — not to act on anyone's behalf.
A calm, unhurried pace
Difficult family matters deserve time and space. We never rush a session, and we welcome every question — no matter how basic it might seem.
Discretion as a default
Personal family information is handled with care and confidentiality. We do not share, discuss, or use information beyond the session it was shared in.

How We Work
Our standards and practices
Pre-session assessment
Before each session we ask a few simple questions to understand what you are working through, so time is spent on what matters most to you.
Confidentiality commitment
All personal information shared during sessions is held in confidence and handled in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Session notes provided
After every session you receive a written summary of what was covered, including any resources or official contacts discussed, for your own records.
Scope clarity
We are clear about what falls inside and outside our scope. If something requires a licensed professional, we say so promptly and help you identify where to go.
Feedback welcome
We ask for honest feedback after every session and use it to improve. Our sessions are shaped by the people who attend them.
Up-to-date information
We review our resource directories and process guides regularly to make sure the information we share reflects the current situation in Thailand.
Family support rooted in Bangkok's community
hearthwelludasd works with individuals and families at moments when paperwork and communication feel overwhelming. Our approach draws on years of experience working alongside Bangkok families from a wide range of backgrounds — expatriate families, multi-generational Thai households, and people who have recently moved to the city and are finding their way through local administrative processes for the first time.
The sessions we offer are educational and organisational in nature. We do not practise as lawyers, counsellors, or registered mediators, and we are transparent about this from the first conversation. What we do well is translate complicated processes into plain steps, hold space for conversations that need a neutral room, and connect people with the official resources and community services that are right for their particular situation.
Our Sathon office is accessible from the BTS Skytrain and serves as a quiet, comfortable space for sessions. For families outside central Bangkok, we can discuss remote session options. We are committed to being genuinely useful — not impressive-sounding — and to leaving every person we work with better informed and more confident about their next steps than when they arrived.
